How do I know that my extension will require planning?
If your home is either terraced or Semi-Detached and not previously extended, the maximum that you can build to is 40swqm without planning; unless it is visible to the front of your property at which point you will require planning. If you do have an existing house extension the cumulative rule will apply to a max of 40sqm.
Do you help with designing my home extension?
Yes we do. All of our planning applications for extensions begin with a home consultation (2 hours) to survey and discuss design options considering your needs and wants. We present your preferred design option in 3d which allows you to fully visualise your proposal.
We are in the process of selling our home and need to prepare a retention application. Is this something that you offer?
Yes we do these on a regular basis and they are very similar to a standard planning application. We can advise you on the Planning fee and whether you may need to pay Development Contributions.
